Focus Your Birthday to Unlock A New Chapter; a Huge Gift in Your Lifetime
Birthdays are the one thing all of us living on this beautiful planet share.
This morning I woke up too many salutations of Happy Birthday.
In today’s world, there are different ways people reach out to wish you, “The Happiest of Birthdays.”
Over the last couple of days I have received Birthday Cards in the mail; yes, I am someone who loves receiving cards in the mail; it is like unwrapping a gift. I love the creativity in the cards and the handwritten messages from family and friends.
Don’t get me wrong; I am a tech guy also and getting a barking dog in a web card singing me, “Happy Birthday” is pretty cool; a text with all these emojis is neat, the variations of Happy Birthdays through Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram are also fun.
I find that if it were not for technology, I would never hear from people who are not involved in my life for the most part and drop back in once a year through social media.
My family loves to play the song; “Happy, Happy Birthday Song” by The Arrogant Worms on my birthday. This song transcends all generations and it a must-have on your playlist. This song will get played over and over again throughout my Birthday.
We have a road trip planned this week to the Rocky Mountains; this song will be on the road trip playlist.
There are many great lyrics in this song.
The song reminds us of the fact you were able to make a trip around the sun and that your life is not over and you did not die this year, so that is good enough. I realize the song is a tongue cheek and it is humorous and fun.
Most people on our birthday allow us to enjoy and indulge ourselves.
What have you done for yourself on your birthday?
What is Your Gift to Yourself?
We don’t get too many years on this earth. The older you get, you realize you may have more years behind you than you have in front of you as you go through life.
Each year I am alive is Huge Gift; we all have lost loved ones around us, and this makes our morality ever more present in our lives.
One of the Chapters I started as part of my life story is the power of investment real estate and how it is now impacting everyone around me.
On my birthday in March 2002, we decided to purchase a property in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The premise behind this new chapter in our lives was a place to vacation but also rent to offset the costs of operating. Every time we are paid vacation rent; part of it goes to mortgage pay down and is an ongoing gift.
During this birthday week, my family is joining me, and we are going to ski, sled, skate, and take in many other activities; the purchase of our vacation rental home is a gift that has so many ways of giving.
If you listen to my guest podcast show https://www.vaulttoinvestmentrealestatesuccess.com/episode-54-recreational-vacation-rental-properties-rick-harris
you might hear this as an option for you on your birthday and realize it is not just a gift for yourself but many other people in your life.
The podcast episode is my small way of sharing an idea for a chapter in your life.
My goal in 2018 is to continue to deliver my blog posts twice a week; Tuesdays and Thursdays on investment real estate.
I am excited that my birthday fell on a Tuesday this year and allow me to share what I plan to give myself this year.
I plan to launch; Vault to Investment Real Estate Success Podcast. The podcast is about helping you develop and build your investment real estate chapter in your story. Have a look at my website; https://www.vaulttoinvestmentrealestatesuccess.com and go to my Episodes tab to see my countdown clock.
One of my goals is to construct a loyal readership or listenership.
Do I think you should gift me your time and get no return; not a chance; I would like to create a gift for you that keeps on giving.
There is that old saying, “Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me.”
Over the days, years and decades I would love to help you create a chapter or two as part of your financial foundation and have you share your many economic foundational chapters with your fellow readers and me; this would be very generous. (see comment section at the end of each blog post)
There are enough similarities from others’ lessons you can draw from to help you through your next chapter and build your own investment real estate story.
I wish everyone the Happiest of Birthdays whenever yours falls on the calendar.
Have a monumental day.
